Intro: 
This book was mostly a fighting book.  Much actually, like the last. 
The main difference, is that Desh is back in full swing, and Lilith make their appearance and
show everyone who's really got the power.   
The question that all have been wondering is also answered in this book, as well as the next (25). 
CAN Deshwitat all-out fight his beloved wife?
Well, as stated, it all comes about in this and the next book.  Personally I hate books that can't
finish one lousy fight in a book.  But Kang Woo Lee manages to pull it off.

With Desh and Lilith fighting hard and using their magik back & forth...

                       

The rest of civilization is left to deal with the results of the last barriers breaking.

Through the last several hundred years, Kalutika's known what makes
Lilith tick.  With her husband destroyed, and herself brought back from
death and still pregnant with Deshwitat's child.  There was but one path
to follow.  Be subservient to the g'd of Light. 
Though her son, from time to time, has thrown in his little bit of rebellion. 
But now fuelled with the knowledge that it is Deshwitat that is his father,
not Kalutika; he chooses to side against the Light.
   As always, Lilith, gets caught in the middle with nowhere to turn. 
And Kalutika wanting but one thing, Deshwitat's death at her hands.

Again, this book is mostly just a brawl type of book. 
Needless to say, there is still story to it, but mostly, it's
fighting. 
   We'll see the Vatican puppets attempt their hardest to make
their last stand and hold the battlefield.  But, what is the small powers
they can muster against the power of a really old, really pissed off g'd?

It's most definitely continued over in Volume 25.
